It’s such a relief when having your adventure all planned out!
Leigh Deighton & Jacqueline Cameron, couples fishing adventure took place at our anglers lodge Trees and Fishes between 20th & 23rd May 2016. Their adventure was to be filled with as much “Fishfix and chill” over three days. So here’s how Leigh & Jacqueline filled up their time with us.
Their guide was Stephen Moderan a Ni Vanuatu with French/Vietnamese descendants fishing onboard our smaller vessel, Edgewater 17ft. And so began Leigh & Jacqueline’s fishing adventure with three Yellowfin tuna ranging from 42kg to 55kg+ landed on day one including Jacqueline’s 58kg fish.
For some apres dinner entertainment, Leigh & Jeanine had a ball fishing for squid from our jetty using Mia’s rod and managed to bring in four large squids. Those squids were served the following night for dinner.
Day two being Leigh’s birthday, Stephen’s mission was to get him onto a big fish, which saw him land a 50kg+ Yellowfin. That evening the couple enjoyed a celebratory romantic dinner by our waters edge including “happy long life” birthday wishes by the Trees and Fishes team.
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end despite Leigh & Jacqueline not wanting to leave Trees and Fishes on their last day. I am sure this is only a short goodbye for Leigh & Jacqueline who we look forward to welcoming back to our little private piece of paradise very soon.
